The Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling Newsboys have defined Christian music for more than two decades. Along the way, they’ve sold more than 10 million units and amassed eight gold certifications, 33 #1 radio hits, four Grammy® nominations, two American Music Award nominations and multiple Dove Awards. In addition, their chart-topping, platinum-certified single, “God’s Not Dead,” inspired the 2014 hit film of the same name. Opening for Newsboys is Adam Agee, former front man to the iconic Christian Rock group Audio Adrenaline.
Since forming in Australia three decades ago, Newsboys have released 23 recordings, featuring signature songs including “We Believe,” “He Reigns,” “Miracles” and “Born Again.” Called musical shapeshifters, the band moves fluidly between rock and pop, worship and dance.
Their latest album, United, debuted in May of this year, featuring the hit single, “Greatness of Our God.” The groundbreaking recording brought together former Newsboys’ members Peter Furler and Phil Joel with lead vocalist Michael Tait, guitarist Jody Davis, keyboardist Jeff Frankenstein and drummer Duncan Phillips.
