Junior Achievement of Alaska

We are bringing volunteers into classrooms to deliver Junior Achievement programs on financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. Students love JA for their interactive and fun lessons. Teachers love the way JA backs up core curriculum, encourages literacy, and provides a connection with the real world.

Here's what to expect:
JA will provide the training and the JA kits have everything you need for a fun, interactive experience. 
Volunteers will deliver the 5-6 JA sections that make up their grade-appropriate JA program.
Teachers remain in the classroom all day to aid in classroom management as well as catch up on paperwork and planning.
JA programs will take up the entire day, but younger grades may finish up early.
