Deadline to Register to Vote for City of Wasilla Regular Election

The City of Wasilla will hold a Regular Election on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

Notice is hereby given that the deadline to register to vote or update voter registration to qualify to vote in the election is Sunday, September 3, 2023. 

The Alaska Division of Elections oversees voter registration in Alaska. Register to vote or update registration online or use a paper form: 

• Online Voter Registration System: voterregistration.alaska.gov/ 
• Paper applications are available from:
  • Alaska Division of Elections. Mat-Su Office, 1700 E Bogard Road, North Fork Professional Building B, Suite 102.
  • City Clerk’s Office, 290 E Herning Avenue.

A person may vote in a city election only if the person is qualified to vote in state elections under AS 15.05.010; has been a resident of the city for 30 calendar days immediately preceding the election; is registered to vote in state elections at a residence address within the city at least 30 calendar days before the city election at which the person seeks to vote; and is not disqualified to vote under Article V of the Alaska Constitution (WMC 4.08.010).
