Recent financial support has been invested to expand and enhance vital care through additional staff and operational growth:

 

* Provided our services to nearly 300 children in the Matsu Borough this year.

* Ensured a highly trained response team that exceeds the requirements of accreditation.

* Responded to community crisis situations with dedicated highly-trained staff including nights, weekends, and holidays. The Children’s Place is available on-call 24-hours a day.

* Hired two on-site nurse practitioners to provide forensic medical exams and share caseload.

* Hired an on-site mental health counselor and dedicated play-therapy space.

* Provided advocacy in local trials and grand juries for children who have been victims of crime.

* Purchased new toys, TVs, kid-friendly decor for family waiting rooms to create a safe, inviting and peaceful environment.
